Twice The Ice^®, located in Moultrie, GA, manufactures fully automated ice production and retail distribution units. These units are currently being sold to investors in the Southeastern United States with plans to expand across the country as production is increased. Once placed at a location, the unit will produce its own ice when needed, process and bag the ice, accept payment and distribute the ice to customers - all without direct human involvement!

Current units measure 24' long by 8' wide and are capable of producing 6,400 pounds of ice per day. The walls are insulated with 4" of high-density foam and are designed to withstand winds up to 150 MPH. Dollars or coins are taken in through a currency validator much like those found on soft-drink vending machines throughout the country. Ice is then distributed through either of two chutes on the outside of the building, depending on customer selections - one chute is for 16-pound bags and the other for 20-pounds of bulk ice to be dropped directly into a customer's container (such as a cooler).
